Forest & Folklore
De Veluwe, hoe klein ook op de wereldkaart, is een plek van verhaal. Volksverhalen werden doorverteld van generatie op generatie over vrouwen van mist, beschermers van grafheuvels, zwarte wolven, boomdansers en elfen. Dit, jaren later, is de locatie waar mijn werk tot leven komt, doordrenkt van deze oude magie.
EN ❋ The Veluwe, a Dutch forest-rich ridge of hills, how small on a world map, is a place of stories. Folk tales were passed down from generation to generation about women of mist, protectors of burial mounds, black wolves, tree dancers and elves. This, years later, is the location where the roots of my work grow, imbued with this ancient magic.

Handgemaakt met liefde, zonder het gebruik van AI. Ik schilder graag buiten in het bos op locatie of in mijn atelier. Tot de technieken behoren zowel digitale tekeningen of schilderijen in wateroplosbare olieverf. Van mijn schilderijen zijn hoogwaardige reproducties op eco-friendly materiaal te koop.
